The following specific topics cover established and
approved penalties for violations of cited CCR(s) as approved by the Directors:
1. Late Assessment Payment: (CCR 13.1)
Penalty is $2.00 per day for the first 30 days then $1.00 per day thereafter.
2. Garbage Cans: (CCR 4.5) Must be out
of sight except from 6 PM Thursday to 12 PM Saturday. ACC is authorized to grant waivers for medical or
other deserving circumstances.
Penalty: $20.00 per violation, not to exceed $50.00 maximum
per month
3. Lawn Care: (CCR 8) Generally must meet
neighborhood standards/factors as follows:
a. Cutting/Mowing: Generally cut once per week with
a maximum permitted height of 4 inches.
b. Watering/Feeding: Grass must be kept alive,
healthy and green in color.
c. Edging/Trimming: Regularly, at least as often
as mowed/cut.
d. Weed Control: Chemically treated/manually
removed. Few or no weeds permitted.
e. Coverage: Soil must be covered with growing
grass. No dirt or bald spots should be visible.
NOTE: A violation may consist of any one
or more of the specified factors a-e above.
Penalty: $50.00 for first violation
Call MWC Code Enforcement on second violation
$50.00 per 10 days on third violation
Direct SCOA intervention at owner's cost.
4. Vehicular Parking: (CCR 4.7) Two potential
violation possibilities as follows:
a. Vehicles parked in excess of 48 hours in the street.
Penalty not yet determined.
b. Inoperable vehicles.
Penalty: $250.00 per 30 days per violation
Additionally, MWC police will be called to tow away any such vehicle in the public street. Vehicles illegally parked
in the streets will be reported to MWC police for towing.
5. Basketball Goals: (CCR 4.14.1.7) All
must be vertically positioned and well maintained regarding net and backboard condition, paint, rust and general appearance.
If portable and lying in a horizontal position it must be out of sight.
Penalty: $50.00 per violation
6. RVs, Boats and
Trailers, Etc.: (CCR 4.7) No RVs, campers, motor homes, trailers or large commercial vehicles may
be parked in either private driveways or on the street at any time, except for a 24 hour period in which RVs/motor homes
may be serviced, loaded or unloaded. Campers/Trailers must be garaged or out of sight. Boats may be
temporarily in a driveway (never in the street) in season for servicing/cleaning, but not storage. Boats must always
be stored out of sight when out of season.
Penalty: $50.00
per day, with 24 hours to correct
